Testimonials

I just wanted to say "THANKS" for the opportunity to participate in the Mrs. Texas United America Pageant this year.  This was my FIRST pageant and at 45, I would have to say that I was very nervous.  But you and your staff were the ultimate professionals.  Your hospitality and calming demeanor     immediately made me feel relaxed.  Even though you had a lot of "pageant veteran" contestants I still never felt a pretentious attitude from any one.

I NEVER expected to accomplish so much on my first time out.  I just thought that I would give it my best.  I hoped, at most, to be in the top 5.  But when I was called for 4th or 3rd runner up, I was thinking to my self that at least I had a great time.   But when I received 1st Runner Up, I was truly shocked.  Also, receiving the First Place Model and Fitness Award was another shocker.

I was impressed by the overall equity of the women in the pageant and the acueman that each had for their respective platforms.  I was blessed to be in their presence.  I have already made some true friendships that I hope will last a lifetime.

Annette, I would recommend your pageant to newbies like me in a heart beat.  I wish you all the best, don't change anything and thanks for making my dream come true.  Please let me know if I can ever be of assistance to you or the pageant in anyway.

Also, please give my best to your wonderful staff, Colby Pyle for her patience

Thank you to the wonderful pageant staff, sponsors and ladies competing for making this a memorable experience.  I haven't had this much fun in years!  Everone was so welcoming and really worked together.  We looked good, felt great and definitely showed our best.  It was an incredible experience that you created Miss Annette.
Wish it was all week long!

Miss Annette,

I just wanted to take the time to send you a quick email. I cannot express to you how   much I enjoyed this pageant!!!!! I have competed twice in another pageant and this experience was completely different. This whole atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. The staff.....oh my goodness......they were the BEST! Vanessa, Colby and even Tatiana were WONDERFUL!!! I met so many ladies that I am so happy to call my friends......I was absolutley honored to meet all of them. Once the nerves of the morning interviews were over, the whole experience kept getting better and better! Thanks goes to you for putting on such a FABULOUS experience for all of us! I can see why so many ladies keep coming back......it was so much fun!!! THIS PAGEANT is what all pageants should strive to be!!!

Thank you and BLESS YOU!!!!!!

My reign as 2005 Mrs. Texas United America took me through experiences that many young women can only dream of. It was rewarding both emotionally and spiritually and afforded me the opportunity to travel our great state and meet so many unique individuals. My reign afforded me a respectable platform from which to promote issues so near and dear to my heart like cancer research, community volunteer efforts, and etiquette education for young men and women in our great country. I am so thankful for the opportunities and hope that during my reign I touched the lives of others in some small way. They definitely had a great impact upon mine!
Ms. Annette, the pageant members and associates were always there with so much support, love and encouragement. Without them, it simply would not have been possible. During my reign, I strived to represent the pageant with the grace and elegance it deserves. Ms. Annette, I will always love you deeply.
If I can leave just one thought behind, it’s this: “Love yourself, remain prayerful, be honest and fair, and always put your best face forward!”

The Mrs. Texas United America Pageant was the best pageant I've ever been involved in!  As a Mrs. it was very accomodating for ladies with families and you couldn't ask for a better director.  Miss Annette made me feel right at home and confident!  If there are any ladies who are pageant "veterans" or if you're thinking about competing in a pageant for the first time - you should really consider this one!

Annette,

First of all THANK YOU for the wonderful pageant.  It was so refreshing to be at your pageant after the bad experiences I’ve had since trying to find a great pageant after loving the American Coed system.  I am very proud to have been a part of your system.
Colby’s crown and sash were absolutely beautiful!  The photos do not to the crown justice and I love your new sashes.I plan on returning next year.

I can not tell you how AWESOME not only you are, but the Mrs. TEXAS United America Pageant is!  I knew the first time that we visited on the phone that it would be one of the best experiences I would ever have, and realized I would also be working with a lady who just simply loves what she does.  It was such an honor it was to make Top 8 and to win Talent my first year! Especially since my performance was dedicated to my grandmother, who had passed the Thursday before the pageant. When I got to the hotel and had a special little note from you expressing your condolences, I can not tell you how much that meant to me!

Last year was like icing on the cake! It was so much fun. I even had fun behind the stage! From Colby and Kelly just laughing (because they were having so much fun) to Wendy just being herself! 2006 contestants will forever be known as truly being “Pretty in Pink!” I am very honored to have made Top 5 and to win Talent! I was on Cloud 9 the whole way home and we know that is a long way! Ha!

I’ve had other ladies just ask my opinion on pageants, and which ones I would recommend, and I have to say “Mrs. Texas United America” is one of my favorites! You should do it!  From the director to the contestants, to all the sweet ladies who help in the back, It is such an awesome experience, and how much I’ve grown every year! Even my husband can’t wait to go this year!  How wonderful is that! Porsche still talks about getting to wear her crown and stand up at her mommy’s pageant! When we watch the pageant video, she rewinds herself over and over and just laughs.  I can’t wait for the pageant this year!

Thanks for everything!
