Ms. Texas - Shaune Stauffer
Shaune Stauffer, Ms. Texas United America, hails from Houston originally.  As a child, she was classically trained in ballet and is an accomplished gymnast.  Born to an English professor and corporate CEO, Shaune developed a love of science and medicine as well as the performing arts.

At the age of twelve, her theory of the New Ice Age earned her top accolades at several engineering science fairs. At thirteen, she auditioned for a regional television commercial for Blue Bell Ice Cream after being spotted in a grocery store and signed with Page Parkes Models shortly thereafter.  She modeled in Japan, Korea, New York, Paris and Los Angeles; all before high school graduation.

Even though she scored in the top one percent of her class on college entrance exams, Shaune postponed her formal education to pursue a career in modeling.

Shaune is very involved in the American Stroke Foundation.  Losing her mother in 2008 to a stroke, Shaune focused her efforts on making rehabilitation for stroke survivors and support for family members of stroke victims accessible for low income families.  She has also been active in raising funds for the American Heart Association and the Houston Area Women's Center.

Today Shaune is well established on television and a highly in-demand model. Her love of people and experience in communication make her an outstanding Ms. Texas United America, a title she wears with the utmost pride!
